Trip Itinerary
This is a typical 6-hour itinerary for our Northern Virgina wine tours.
After introductions, you will enjoy your first pairing of the day with a fun pastry and wine pairing. You will be blown away how much food changes the taste of wine.
The best vineyards are 60+ minutes from the uptown Charlotte area. Be prepared for an hour in the wine van but don’t worry, our guides have curated a fun wine tour playlist (or you can play your own). Please note that the wine van also has plenty of water and snacks for you to enjoy throughout the day.
Your second
The final vineyard is typically where you will get a full wine tasting. This tasting typically consists of 6 – 10 wines (depending on the vineyard) and will offer you a wide variety of different kinds of NC wine. You will have 60 minutes and if you like a wine, please buy a bottle to share with those that could not come on the tour.
Your tour departs at 4 pm and will take about 60 minutes to get you back to the meeting location.

No, per NC law, it is illegal to drink alcohol of any kind in our vans because we are not designated as for-hire.
Please note that any spills other than water assess cleaning fees of $200+ for any spillages.

This tour only includes charcuterie and a snack basket of chips. Individuals are encouraged to bring additional food.
Some vineyards will have food trucks.
For the most part, our wine tours are best experienced outdoors. Sometimes there will be opportunities to be seated indoors or under covered areas, but it’s important to know that Carolina summers can be very sunny and very hot. Please dress for the weather for your tour.
In winter, we will try to accommodate indoor requests.
- 2 Vineyard tours are 4.5 hours, including drive-time.
- 3 Vineyard tours are 6 hours, including drive-time.
Takes about 1 hour and 5 minutes to reach the Yadkin area vineyards.
Our typical pickup time for all Friday and Saturday tours is 11 a.m., and Sunday tours 12 p.m.
If your group would like to start earlier to later, please let us know.
Non-drinkers are charged a flat fee of $100 which covers transportation and food costs.
Unless otherwise specified, public-facing tours do not offer refunds within 72 hours (3 days) of the wine tour date. However, you can receive partial credit toward a future wine tour if you need to reschedule.
For all private tours, no refunds are given 14 days before a wine tour. All deposits are kept and not refunded. We recommend purchasing insurance at the time of booking.

Transportation Only?
If you are looking for transportation-only tours, our rates start at $150/hr, and we can accommodate up to 12 people in our vans. 5-hour minimum is required. Contact us with questions.
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required for this option. This money applies to your balance. Booking insurance is available for each tour & protects tour cancellations.
